Of course, was is the operative word. A little over five years ago, a friend and I were roughhousing in the backyard of my old house and I ended up breaking my left hand (my drawing hand) in three places. Since then I haven't been able to draw. My hand isn't as steady as it used to be, it hurts after only a few minutes into drawing, and I think I have some psycological issues too.
Who knows. So, I've tried experimenting with other avenues of art! Photoshop is lovely, but I can't do much more than editing stock images with it. For a long time, though, I've admired 3-dimensional artwork using programs like Poser and Daz Studio. Curious about the work involved in the art, as well as needing another avenue, I decided to pick up a copy of Poser 7.0 the other day.
Just a week later, I've more or less decided to give up! Haha. I'm not a very patient person to begin with, and I don't have the money to spend on additional content. So, it's borderline impossible for me to learn the program and utilize it effectively. Therefore, I have a great respect for anyone who can. You really do deserve to be called artists and no one should think otherwise.
Anyway, this is longer than I wanted it to be and so I'm going to cut it off here. Enjoy your day, or night!
